lodestarEphemeris is a long name for a simple tool: a table that lists planetary positions by date. You can read one row without doing any calculations.
Start with the date
Find the day in the first column. Check the time printed at the top of the table too. A daily row may show positions at 00:00 UT, which is one specific moment, not every hour of that date.
Choose one planet column
The headings show bodies such as the Sun, Moon, and Mercury. Find one column and read its position on your chosen row. A sign and degree tell you where that body is listed in the zodiac for the table's stated time.
Keep the table and the reading separate
The table supplies positions; it does not tell you what will happen. A full birth chart also uses a birth time and place for its house layout. For a first look, one date and one column are enough.
A few common questions
Does a daily row give my exact birth chart?
No. It shows positions at the time printed on that table. An exact birth chart needs your birth moment, and its houses also depend on location.
