Find the western point
DSC stands for Descendant, the point where the zodiac meets the western horizon. It sits opposite ASC and, in many chart layouts, marks the start of the seventh house.
Read it with ASC
For example, if ASC is in Aries, DSC is in Libra, the sign opposite Aries. You need a birth time and place to find that pair reliably; a birthday alone is not enough.
Use it as a relationship question
Western astrologers link DSC with the seventh house and one-to-one relationships, including partnerships. You might ask how you listen, cooperate, or set boundaries with another person. This chart point cannot reveal a future partner’s sign or tell you what someone else will choose.
