IC points toward home and roots
IC is the point opposite the MC. Astrologers link it with home, family roots, and private foundations. It can invite a question about what makes you feel supported, without deciding what your family life must be like.
Read the pair together
You might ask, ‘What do I want to offer outside, and what do I need when I return home?’ Some charts place MC and IC at the starts of houses 10 and 4; other house methods can place those points inside different houses. The two labels still face each other.
A few common questions
Does the MC tell me my future job?
No. In astrology it is a symbol for public direction, not a job prediction. Your choices and circumstances matter.
